Our goji grows where almost nothing else will — the Qaidam Basin of the Qinghai Plateau, three thousand meters up, where the air is thin and the light is merciless. Fed only by glacial meltwater from the Kunlun range and grown to organic standard, these are among the largest, sweetest berries China produces. Every autumn the families who tend these fields pick them by hand, in the cold, one branch at a time.
