Our Story
Many origins. One ritual.
For two thousand years — long before the first supplement, the first capsule, the first lab — there was simply the cup. A handful of goji and jujube, a few chrysanthemum buds, hot water, and a quiet moment. It was how families cared for one another, season after season, generation after generation.
Herb & Hill exists to keep that cup exactly as good as it should be.
We make herbal tea sachets the slow way. For every ingredient, we go to the one place in China where it grows best — and bring back only the finest grade of that single origin. Not the cheapest. Not the closest. The best.
Our goji ripens in the Qaidam Basin of the Qinghai Plateau, three thousand meters up, under 3,200 hours of high-altitude sun and fed by glacial meltwater — conditions so extreme that only the hardiest, sweetest berries survive. Our chrysanthemum is picked in Tongxiang while still in bud, the highest grade of Hangzhou white chrysanthemum, before a single petal opens. Our jujube grows in the deserts of Ruoqiang, Xinjiang — thick-fleshed, honey-sweet, dense with sun. Our roses come from Pingyin, China's rose capital. Our longan is sun-dried in Putian, Fujian. One ingredient, one origin — always the single best place for it.
And nothing else. No additives. No flavorings. No concentrates, no extracts. We don't make supplements — we make what families have steeped for thousands of years: the whole ingredient, picked by hand, sealed unhurried into a single sachet.
So that all you have to do is pour the water, and wait.
Many origins. One quieter kind of care.
